In China, we only accept Chinese credit card, and very few big named stores accept international credit card, not mention credit card to a company/factory/supplier. It's almost impossible.

The best way would be after a due diligence checking on your Chinese supplier, arrange payment by wire transfer.

You have checked these out first right and not just trusted them straight away? £1700 is a big amount to lose. What are you buying if you don't mind me asking?

It seems like it is the only way to pay.... & of course this is a normal thing in China when it comes to TT payment...

Gotta do some research on that company before paying..

Maybe this company have't registered in China. that you would take a rish of scammed.

For a big amount, don't use Paypal,,WesternUnion,MoneyGram.

Show the supplier 's company name, i can check the company whether is legit .

Either check that they are real or forget about it, this would be a dream for scammers, to pay with credit card then CHARGEBACK
