I took delivery of some goods from China via DHL to my door, i requested neutral packaging but the goods are packaged in the companys' colours and logo. I would like to return the delivery to the supplier.

Has anyone returned goods to China? Is it an easy process? thanks

It's an easy process, just not cheap. Your best bet would have been to probably just refuse delivery once seeing the company logos etc on the packaging.

Check the weight on the Left and then look up Rest of the World on the Right

Add £3.70 if you want signed for.
Add £2.20 for Compensation.

Larger items above 2000g, get a quote from DHL / UPS etc

Agree with Gamejelly, would have been better to refuse.

It is also time consuming. Average Registered post time id 5 to 6 weeks. Courier is faster, but still not quick, as Chinese customs is extremely suspicious. Be sure and mark the goods as being Returned Merchandise of some sort or another to help get through customs.

Why would you want to return an item due to packaging?

Why repack the goods as lori5000 said, you can ask your supplier to resend the packing, it's cheap to make that in China; one more thing, it's not your fault, so as a professional supplier, they would compensate you. Good luck!

I agree with the repackaging option, far cheaper and far quicker than returning the goods and also worst case scenario the goods could go missing.

Thanks for replys. I wanted the packaging neutral so that my competition wouldnt find out my supplier. It took me a long time to find a company with a reliable product. I ordered samples from this supplier before and tested and was very happy with the results. cheers

Haha...so why you guy don't make OEM packing, then no one can't find out, at the same time you can make you own brand
