Problems with Wire transfer (T/T)

I was today on bank to send a money to the Hong Kong with T/T...
They said me that is something wrong with account number that something is missing in number if i want to send money from EU(european union) to Hong Kong...
A/C No. has: xxx-xxxxxx-xxx numbers...
What else i need in ths number to send money from EU to Hong Kong?

you need the swift code of your hong kong supplier, account number, company name and bank name.

Yes i have all: bank informations,swift code and account number but on bank said me that is something wrong with account number because it's missing something because i want to transfer from Eu to Hong Kong has anybody any idea what is missing in account no.? :S

Maybe your missing BIC and IBAN:
BIC - Bank Identifier Code
IBAN - International Bank Account Number

Iban only need for transfer within EU. Go back to your supplier and reconfirm the account number.

They said that A/C no. is OK and they have many transfer from Europe and nobody have any problems...

Iban is not only used for european transfers, i would re-check your information because you are clearly wrong. Iban was at first developed solely for use within europe although, it could now be considered a global standard.

The statement, Iban only need for transfer within EU. is misleading. and ultimately is incorrect.
