Mail Forwarding: MyUS.com / Access USA
Has anyone ever used / heard of this service? ( www.myus.com)
It sounds very great to me, as many US companies don't ship outside the US, and if they do, ask ridiculous high shipping rates.
Currently looking for a notebook bag, but haven't been able to find a great one in the city I live. So I searched the internet, and found www.ebags.com, which state they use this service (myus.com). I know ebags.com is a legit company, but just want to do a double check on myus.com...

There are many similar companies out there. The most import thing you have to look for is what shipping company they'll use. Many mail forwarding companies are just courier service agents (DHL, UPS etc.). Obviously , courier will be very expensive.
You should look for companies that use USPS for shipments (like Shipito.com)

Re: Mail Forwarding: MyUS.com / Access USA
The nice thing about usamail1.com is not just the package forwarding they do (and you can choose any of the couriers, FedEx, UPS, DHL, plus USPS - so it's totally up to you how much you spend on shipping) but the online control panel.
You can see what mail you've gotten, throw out junk mail at no extra cost, decide how often to forward your letters and packages (so again, you completely control the cost - you can pay more when you need mail more often, or wait and send fewer shipments), and you can change your shipping destination as often as you like - great when I was a student and had a different address every semester.
So yes they offer the courier service but usamail1.com really offers so much more as well.

Yeah, usamail1.com has some great features (altough other companies also offer CP) and looks like a very popular company.

What benefit do you have of using them as you are based in the US?

Re: Mail Forwarding: MyUS.com / Access USA
Like I said, when I was student I moved around a lot and I still haven't quite settled in long term, but I've been able to keep the same address for years. Very convenient, even without needing the cheap international shipping.
