PayPal will unveil its new platform on Tuesday, a feature that its owner Ebay hopes will help double the size of the payments unit over the next two years.

The platform, named PayPal X, will let third-party developers integrate PayPal into everything from an application on a social network to a web-connected television set.

It's time to get creative with the ways that you as a business can collect payments from your customers. PayPal seem to be taking the lead on this.. other providers seem to be lagging a little.
