hi all,

just wondering can you buy rolls or packs of 'recorded/signed for postage labels'?

It would save me having to wait for everthing to get stamped up etc etc...

is this possible and can you buy rolls of these recorded labels.

Many thanks

You can get these for free at your post office. The lady at mine gives me pages out of there recorded book and enough stickers for my needs. I then can fill it all out at home and then take it all to the post office for them to process. Leave your money and off you go, simples !!

yep thats right. The pages they give you are for writing all the address details on and then you can stick the little stickers next to each address. This is then for you to keep for your records. That way you can then leave all the parcels with them and you dont have worry about the receipts they print off with the tracking numbers.

Another way of saving time is to have all this written down before hand and then you just need to stick the stickers. You could list all the addresses on a word doc or spread sheet when you print labels etc then you dont have your hand falling off writing them all down !

Hope you get what i mean,

I use justshipit software, it connects to your ebay store, one click prints all your labels, invoices, picking list and royal mail manifest with all addresses on it. Just stick the barcodes on and off you go, saves a lot of time. (But I don't recommend this software, looking for a similar one myself).

Call Royal Mail on 08457 950 950

Then select the option to order business supplies.

They will ask for your companies postcode (so they can search your account) so simply tell them you don't have an account but your local post office told you to call.

Tell them you want:
1 Roll of Recorded Signed For Stickers (500 per roll)
1 Recorded Signed For Posting Book

Grand total £0.

Then to post something, stick a sticker on the package, enter the details in the book. Then go to the post office they will scan the sticker, charge you X amount (normal amount per item) and stamp the postage book. No need for all those indudivial receipts!

Hope this helps!
