Hi all

If Im selling something to a few people - not via an auction site or online store - just to people I know via the internet/forums etc - is it OK for them to pay me as 'Gift'?

If a few people do this, would it cause any trouble??

Cheers

I have paid people and also received payments via Paypal gift, I dont think its a problem if the other person involved is trustworthy.

For larger amounts with people you have not dealt with before I would not use gift for the first time.

Was just thinking about this. If anything went wrong, although the seller would have no cover, nor would the buyer, as the funds were gifted.......as far as PayPal know, it wasnt an actual sale, it was a gift......?
