does this sound legitimate?

I do my deals via Square Trade. Please visit www.squaretrade.com.
I request payment by Western Union at Square Trade.
They act like a guarantee service. The process is in following way:
- you confirm the payment to Square Trade
- after that I do the shipment
- you receive the package, inspect it and give your OK to Square Trade
- they release the payment to me.
All that you have to do is to confirm me your exact order & shipping address. I will start the deal and Square Trade will contact you with further instructions.

the wholesaler is from the United Kingdom...im new at buying things wholesale so im not quite sure if this payment method is a scam. Thanks

Never pay using Western Union. Also, If i am correct, Square trade do not operate an 'escrow' service like the description suggests.

as far as i know square trade do hold money for the seller.
go to their website. they state clearly that they are not an escrow service.

I dont personally use square trade but they seem to be supported on most of the ebay forums very well..

Only a flying visit today, will catch up with PM's tomorrow etc etc.
