Default Genuine Wholesalers

Hi all

I'm new to all this and i would to know if there are any genuine wholesalers out there that sell PS3's, ipods, mobile phones and consumer electronics basically.

Your response will be much appreciated.

There are many sellers however there even more scammers.

You will find sellers here on the forum but do not expect to make much money selling them, especially on eBay!

I'd recommend finding a product for a few dollars overseas and try and double your money on eBay. Less risk but much more fun! It won't make you rich (unless you hit on something niche) but will be an invaluable learning experience.

Think of it like this, do you really want to tie up a few grand in stock and only make a few pounds, or worse still.... never see that money again?

One thing worth noting. Anyone here who has a valuable supplier will not unfortunately share their source with you. It doesn't quite work like that in business, especially on such competitive products like branded electronics.

That is the million dollar question! If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it

Untimately only you can answer that question. There are many sites such as Alibaba, Global Sources etc. As long as you stay away from anything with a brand name and do a few company checks you will be fairly safe (especially electronics!).

There is no magic formular or product list (if there was then everyone would be a millionaire), gut reaction accounts for a lot when sourcing products.

Spend a few hours searching these sites and you may stumble across something and think to yourself 'wow that's pretty cool' and take it from there.

Unfortunately I can not be any more specific as that's how it tents to work.

I hope this helps.

let me give you a trick.
you go to ebay and choose a category for example perfume click on auction items only (not buy now option, you check this later for sale volume) and then sort out by highest price only.
see which one they have high bidders 5-10-15 bids then you know you have a potential item and take it from there.
use the same technic over and over again or buy marketing research service.
how's that

Better yet, why don't you sell things that pertain to your interests and hobbies?

Thats probably more advisable as you would have great knowledge on the topic as well as being more passionate about it.
