A new law has been approved in belgium from yesterday on...
Customs can give fees themselfs without interference of a judge.
You can get fees up to 500.000 Euros and prison time if you are importing fakes.

I dont know what the case is in UK?

I know this happens every day but its a reminder that if you are passing off fakes as real the consequences really are there.

When I read the press article I had to laugh.... half way down there is a list of "essential links" which read...... " Houses for sale or rent " very useful as they are probably going to seize her assets.... " Find a new Job " again fortuitous and " Read todays Horoscope" not much point given the circumstances... perhaps she should have consulted a much earlier edition.

All in all I have no sympathy... there is a temptation to take risks in business, but all risks should be tempered with the possible consequences.

I wonder what happened at the crown court?... obviously the magistrates thought it warranted more than 6 months.

Then the people producing the fakes will just lower their prices as they have no business targets to meet unlike ralph lauren who only produce clothes to make a huge profit.
