In general guys what experiences and overall rating would you give europe in general as a scource of wholesale Desiner labels, are european suppliers of labels just as risky as asian suppliers or does this all depend on different factors and what should I look out for in a genuine wholesaler despite the obvious basics.cheers.

Its hard to say really, generalising one country to another is not something I regularly do.

I would say though that fakes aren't in abundance in Europe as they are in Asia, simply because the majority (if not all) of counterfeit designer clothing is manufactured in Asia meaning supplies are higher and the risk of exporting are non-existent. That said, we all know a large quantity of counterfeit goods find their way to UK and other EU markets each and every day, the only way of stopping it is to hit the factories producing and to curb supply. Then again, some may argue that we need to focus on the consumers wanting cheaper alternatives rather than paying full price for the real thing.

We've more or less given up buying from Asia, as it's all crap. Europe can be dodgy (you can be ripped off anywhere), but you've got more legal comeback than you have if you've got your fingers burned in China or Thailand.

To Antony:
Do not forget Bulgaria and Romania, these countries are neighbours with Turkey. By my experience Turkey is one of fake fashion items manufacturer. But i know that in Romania there is real Versace factory. But the distributors are all in Italy.

I recommend to find real Designer wholesalers from Italy.
