Its hard to say really, generalising one country to another is not something I regularly do.
I would say though that fakes aren't in abundance in Europe as they are in Asia, simply because the majority (if not all) of counterfeit designer clothing is manufactured in Asia meaning supplies are higher and the risk of exporting are non-existent. That said, we all know a large quantity of counterfeit goods find their way to UK and other EU markets each and every day, the only way of stopping it is to hit the factories producing and to curb supply. Then again, some may argue that we need to focus on the consumers wanting cheaper alternatives rather than paying full price for the real thing.
