Ive been selling import DvDs on ebay for about 2 months now, making alright money. (I know its against ebay's rules, but so what!) and have gotten maybe 2 complaints.. But Id like to move on to USA released dvds now since i have a good bank roll to start out with... Can someone give me a legit, USA, region 1 dvd supplier that i can contact and see their stock lists, prices, etc..

Just to give you an idea of how much you can make selling imports on ebay check out this ebay seller who got banned for it, but prolly made 100,000+ before getting the boot.

When you say you have been selling imports, what do you mean exactly?

dvds made for asia, modified for region 1 (usa, canada). its illegal to sell on ebay for some reason, but fine to sell in retails i beleive

No, they are not DVDs made for Asia - Do you really believe that???

All those so called "Asian Imports" are 100% illegal, fake, bootleg copies!

People go in Jail for selling this crap!

Well thats why ive created this thread, iam sick of making the risk of getting in trouble and am looking for a legit supplier to sell me legit dvd box sets. (sopranos, sex and the city, the wire, er, friends, etc...)

There was a guy that went to prison for about 12 months for selling fake dvds but he made 300,000 in the process wouldn't advise it though.

How do you know that guy was selling fakes?

As I thought.

What you are selling are counterfeit goods and are highly illegal to trade. You are advised to seize trading and destroy any remaining stock and take up an honest and legal business.

There are plenty of suppliers mentioned on this forum, but to find them you are going to have to do some work yourself.

where did you hear that, and where did he sell them?
because i know if you sell on ebay, the most trouble you can get in (if you use a fake name) is getting banned off the website.

I think it was on a programme in the UK called "The Fake Trade" and he was selling them on ebay. I'm not too sure about the prison sentence but he definatly did some time. I'll try find the video on youtube are these DVD's copies or are they legit and just modified?

They come factory sealed, with full colors pictures and cd covers... Their quality is unmatched, and their dvd features are all included.. so i believe they are just modified to region 1 dvd players...
