I'd like to clarify this statement. A lot of people think just because you use your CC to fund your paypal account that you are "protected" against fraud in the event the seller scams you. I would be VERY cautious about this, and honestly it is a case by case basis and depends on your CC company.
For example some CC companies will honor the chargeback in the event something goes wrong and some will not. I have seen both cases happen.
The CC companies that won't will argue that in fact the transaction you made was not between the CC company and the seller, but rather the CC company and Paypal. They will say that they have "honored their obligation" and that a legitimate deal was done between say Visa and Paypal. So you have to check first.
I've seen some chargebacks that have been successful and some that have not. Just be sure you check with your CC company and not blindly assume they will protect you. Good luck.
