Default Methods of sourcing products

[smilie=h:

So, if you are in need of a new supplier, how do you go about sourcing them?

Best places? Worst places?

Any secrets you wish to share?

James

Yeah, i have used that in the past, but they are mainly manufacturers meaning high Minimum orders. I never use Alibaba any more due to the fact scammers seemed to have made that their place. Majority arent legit businesses anymore.

I find an invaluble way of finding suppliers is actually through ebay. I spent a day a while ago contacting powersellers. Many were actually businesses who did sell wholesale. Also meant for alot of the items profit could be made on ebay, which is rare these days!

This is an interesting thread. I'm after a number of small tools and really would not be looking to by more than 100 never mind 1000+

Maybe I should look at eBay, but can't help thinking there is somewhere I can get these things without the hassle.

I have around 100 pr of Pliers which can be viewed on our website under hand tools 58p each plus delivery (they would be heavy so TNT required) we also have the long nose pliers and side cutting pliers in stock
We've also got a few of the 16pc carving set tools (Similar to a scalpel and blades etc)

Yellow_Fl:
I've probably got more of those "carving" sets that you have

As for the pliers, I'm after a specific type - small round nose pliers used to bend wire, etc. Kinzo make them and retail about £2 in my local shop.

But thanks for your help!
