For me, it was trays of big red. About 12 trays, so 144 packets (of 17)

first items i sold were england stone island badges

i bought them for £0.33 each and i was selling them on ebay for £10 each at the time,ended up selling 40 of them which was not to bad for my first venture.

Wish somtimes i could get more of them badges lol

Correct, taught me all about a "captive market" very young, several miles of cars stuck in the heat for hours in long traffic jams with kids and adults overheating, the good old days before aircon.

Shame the event only lasted for 3-4 days.

I grew up in a broken family, we were POOR. Used to play the kids at marbles, win them off them and sell them back to them!

First item I sold...hmmm. I can't remember which one was first:

* When I was 5-6 years old I made my own chips and sold them to family members
* When I was 5-6 years old I sold 3 tickets to my concert where I was singing (kind of)

If we don't count sales to family members, then first money I made out sales was @ age 12-14 when I was publishing and selling monthly newspaper in school. Ohh boy, we even didn't have a copy machine - I actually manually made all the copies with typewriter
