Motorola RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition

I have seen many of these on dhgate.com. The sellers claim they are factory direct. But, some come in a RAZ2 boxes and some come in the gold boxes. But, the box is labeled RAZR v8 Classic edition. It doesnt say RAZR2 Luxury edition. I have order 2 of these phones already one in the gold box and the other in the razr2 box. So, are these phones real or copy phones. Does anyone know anything about this phone?

Ok. But that doesn't give me a clue about this phone and it's authenticity from sellers on DHGATE. You're telling me what I cannot do.

Well the majority of sellers on DHGATE are from China and Motorola is a brand so thus they are fake. And are worthless.

Actually, I tried to contract motorola USA about the phone. I gave them my IMEI number and they said it is an international item so I couldn't get any help. So, can anyone recommend a better source for buying this phone at wholesale price?

I believe there are a lot of threads about DHgate, and I want to say they sell copies not authentic? I'm not sure, you'd probably have to do a search, I know this company comes up a lot on this board.

With regards to IMEI#s, as a poster above said they can be easily faked. Many iphone clones have genuine IMEI#s on it. The best thing you can do is to only buy from Authorized distributors or proven trade companies.

Thanks. I have no luck finding any suppliers that supply this phone beside the Chinese ones. The thing when is before I bought the two phones they said it was factory direct. And China is known to manufacture 1:1 copy nokia phones and iphones, I thought the Motorola phones themselves were manufactured in china. Well the phones I have look so real even the firmware looks real when compared to peoples videos of the actual phone. Thanks for the response though.

I dont think there are any 1:! copies of Nokia and Apple iphones. They may look the same but the interface or weight or quality of materals normaly gives it away pretty easily.

You are correct sir. If you cannot tell the difference between a real and counterfeit (should be fairly easy), you need to do more research before you get burned badly.
