Spotting Counterfit Abercrombie
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so please go easy on me!!!
I thought you would be the best people to ask for advice as I'm sure you've come accross this a thousand times before.
I recently purchased a pair of Abercrombie cargo shorts and I'm worried they're fake. My partner has got some from a while ago, and the ones I've recently purchased are different in cut and weight of material.
Are there any definate flaws I should be looking for? I contacted the company I bought them from and they've asked me to send them back. I'm not too keen on this as I've waited eight weeks to received them in the first place

There is a lot of counterfeit designer clothing flying around the net. A&F is a popular brand to be faked. It would be difficult for us to advise appropriately without the details of your supplier or pictures of the item.

If they are current season and were not purchased from an official Abercrombie store then there is a 99% chance they will be fake (especially if purchased via ebay or similar!)

Photos are no use. You can only buy genuine up-to-date Abercrombie from a store.

Did it come from a store or official Abercrombie sales channels? If not how can you confirm it was genuine? Or let me guess? Factory overruns LOL

If they came from a store, they were obviously genuine. Hence I said:

Well you say you "You can only buy genuine up-to-date Abercrombie from a store"
but if someone buys from me, then they are not buying it from a store are they....
