The dev team have unlocked all firmware for the iPhone, 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 you just need a different version of the quickpwn. Soon they'll be releasing the 3G unlock too so this will be worthless.

used to sell loads of these, even had a deal with i-smart for our own branded version of the i-smart, which we sold loads of. In the end we stopped altogether because if the amount of hassle attached to them. Firmware updates disabling them, not working when they should, getting stuck in sim trays.
Although we bought them for around £3 and sold them for £12 we just couldn't be bothered anymore.

no they won't activate the phone, simply allow any carrier to be used (if somewhat unreliably)

I got an iPhone today with a turbosim... Worked for 15 mins, then lost signal.
They are crap... I just used the software to unlock it and its working perfectly!
