I am trying to source some USB Flash Memory sticks from HK or China (Branded if possible). Does anyone have any exoerience in this field and can direct me to any wholesalers that can be trusted.
I've experienced with usb disk from china. I bought 100 unit kingston 8 GB and 16 GB. packing look like original kingston product. they also said geunine 5 years warranty. last years I got $16 for 8GB and $23 for 16GB. I sell it very fast in 4 days almost 50 unit sold. but next week 40 unit returned. because the disk capacity is different. if you check disk capacities using low level formal software detected 8GB/16GB but if you want save file the capacity of usb disk only 2 GB. you can save more till full but your all file will broken and can't to read.
when you complain to them about their usb disk. they will answer maybe it broken when by shipping courier and etc. their reason will make you headache.
when you still ask to return. they accept but they won't accept for refund. they will said they will change to genuine usb disak but your must order 50 unit more or 100 unit more. but you also never know what they will really ship genuine product or same product. if you have ship return and you not buy more. they won't ship back or refund you money.
so be careful if you want order computer accesories from china.
8GB went up $1.40 at factory prices overnight. That would be at least $2 from a distributor.
If you want to buy, you need funds available and buy when you get a price you can afford. It's like a roller-coaster, and right now it's climbing the hill.
