Exclamation Fake Michael Jackson items

New accounts on Ebay keep springing up offering for sale the Michael Jackson Ultimate Collection 32 DVD+CD box set which comes housed in a fancy looking metallic briefcase. Alibaba is obviously offering them by the bucket loads wholesale but does anybody here own one and can tell me exactly what is contained on the dvds?

Yes I have one and it is the English version in a metal briefcase with a picture of the dangerous album on the front, the ones from china have red on them.

I'm not sure if the chinese ones are fake as Michael weas pretty big in China but the English ones are exceptionally hard to find.

I'm almost 100% confident that the ones coming from China are FAKES!

There is no question at all about them being unlicensed material not least because of the price of the things in fact i do not know of any official releases that exist in that format. But there is a official 4 cd ultimate collection set. It is very easy to find out what is officially released product anyway.
The other thing i noticed is the crazy prices people are asking for his albums and domains.
100-600 thousand dollars for his thriller album despite the mounds of sellers offering them for a few dollars starting bids. One person wanted between 200-300 thousand dollars for a vinyl copy of thriller in good condition even!
Michaeljacksondrugaddict.com is available with a buyitnow price of 21 million dollars.
I had a great laugh yesterday morning looking at all the crazy prices.

In respect to MJ, I wouldnt bother with these fake boxsets from China - its a bit unethical to cash in on someones death with fake products at crazy(ish) prices.
A quick search for these, and the chinese want $45 including shipping each, so say £27/£28 each.
And then people label them as authentic, and sell them on eBay for £50-£70 each!
In my opinion, its terrible.

Michael Jackson is a business he made a good living from it and people here need to make a living so the ethics of cashing in are not really the issue. Beyond that though the quality of material on this box must be terrible i intend to get one soon and when i do i will let you know.

If the qualities terrible, and you feel they are fake, then why are you buying them?

Ethics is involved here on numerous levels.
Number 1, MJ is dead, so people can exploit this through raised prices due to demand.
Number 2, you are planning on buying potentially fake goods and passing them off as genuine to MJ fans who think they are getting the real deal to possibly add to their collections.
Number 3, you talk about the poor quality of these items, but can only see the £££ flashing in your eyes.

I personally dont agree with the idea of buying cheap replicas from china to make a dishonest profit.

Number 4, it's illegal to sell counterfeit goods.
