I've been ordering some phones from Hong Kong and Malaysia, but I have a doubt if they are counter fit or not. Is there a way to verify if they're real ones or not?

what leads you to think they are counterfeit?

IMEI numbers.. Check them..

The market of counter-fit is so big in China and India. Would be stupid to import false mobile phones and get caught.

I ordered one phone, the IMEI was different on the phone than in the box.

Hi everyone, im new to this foreroom, i know there is a lot of scamers out there and i like the way everyone helps eachother out. I'm looking for some 8800's and Ipod 60GB's, fake or not fake, cheap as possible for the phones because there going abroud. Can You please let me know. I'm in the UK.

How can I find my IMEI?

The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number can be displayed on most phones by dialing the code *# 06 #.

The IMEI is also usually printed on the compliance plate under the battery.

A supplier in HongKong did the same thing to me where the IMEI numbers on the boxes were different than on the phones. My new supplier in USA, everything is all matched up & is legit.

There is supposably a way to log onto some website and get info about a typed in IMEI number? Any know how?
