Ipod nano, is the ipod and packaging the same in every country?



hi, i recently went to buy some ipod nanos off a guy, everything seemed genuine etc.. i ordered 10 and to make sure they are genuine i went to the shop an bought a real ipod nano to compare it with.



i opened one of the 10 at random to compare..



i went into every detail and analyzed it extremely as i do not want to spend over a grand on fakes..



he told me they came from Japan..



this is what i noticed and need help in verifying if its genuine:



the ipod was sealed with a slightly thicker cling film



the font of the writing on box was a very very slightly different although the boxes looked identical.



the ipod itself was identical but the buttons on the original from the shop seemed it had a bit more of a click when pressed on it that the one tested..



the ipod bought from the shop had a sort of plastic transparent pocket/ case around the ipod itself to stop the ipod getting scratched as well as the transparent sticker on the front (like mobile phones have when new) the one tested from the guy had slightly different protective plastics that looked a bit different..



the white writings on the back of the ipod seemed very similar but had a few things missing, very small details.. serial number and everything was on it though..



the ear phones and usb wire was in a different transparent package as apposed to the white packaging of the one bought in the shop..



the cd was in a clear case although had all the markings of it on as apposed to a white case etc..



i dont know if im being paranoid, i feel that i have to be.. i dont understand if they are all made in china why would there be absolutely anything different about the ipods, everything including the material and every minute detail should be identical I would have thought..



so my main question is...



are ipods all identical in every country? i mean absolutely identical, every minute detail being the same from the font of the box to packaging of the headphones etc to the thickness and material of the seal... absolutely every single thing?



or...



do they slightly differ from country to country like the differences pointed out above as they are aimed at different markets?



any comments would be great....

Sounds like a fake, Did you compare the software on the CD's did they both have Itunes

iPods are the same from country to country

However, the writing on the box differs.

Like here in Canada, it has both english and french, but in the states only english is on it.
