Default Repackaging

Theres a product, well a range I am looking into importing, its unbranded and comes in plain cheap looking boring tacky pacakging, obviously china lacks style anyway, what are your thoughts on getting your own packaging made and repackaging potentially hundreds of products if they add value and brand to the product. Would you do it yourself or ask the manufacturers if they could? I dont see how the latter would work though, do they buy in their packaging from other factories?

We do it all he time and have it done in China. The unit cost can be a few pennies or a few pounds depending on the quantity and product.

If you are looking at blister packaging thew initial toolmaking and CAD can be quite high. Go for an already boxed/packaged product and then just change the design.

For instance you can buy a 20 quid product, spend a pound on packaging and it looks like a 99.99 product.

Get the artwork done professionally and then send it over to china for them to make the packaging.

You can find a packing factory to make specific packing for you. You can choose designs and colors. It will cost less money to do it. But your products will be avanced much. Then you can sell at higher price.
