Tried it on Two dymo printers.. They both work perfectly with the standard ones, just not with compatible labels. Could have been a dodgy batch. It was quite a long time ago

Just a quick message about the cost of Zebra stuff:

The printer is £179.99 + VAT

Labels are £73.20 + VAT for 12 Rolls containing 700 labels on each (8400 labels).

Same here, have printed loads of compatible label rolls without a single problem/quality issue.

Maybe you had bad quality labels, not the printer itself :-)
