What do you think the best contract is at the moment for the iPhone?
Is it the 8gb 3G for £29.36 a month and handset for free..
or 16gb 3G S handset for £87 at £34.26 a month...or an other that you may know of?

Hey mate,

i reckon you should go for the 3G regardless, i have the 3G in black and my mum has a white 3Gs and mine always loads faster than her, her camera only works half the time. Loads of issues with her 3Gs

But with the 3G it still steams through

That sounds like your mum has a faulty iphone rather than the 3G being better.

Right, but I was looking at what the best would be for value only. I mean I know the differences in the 3G and 3Gs are limited. But is it worth going for the 3Gs for the extras plus the memory?
Also, is there any other cheaper contracts out there???? Anyone know of sites which do the cheapest contract deals for these?

No other sites mate, and the 3GS's features doesnt really make up for the rise in price

I personally would wait 6-7 months for the next iphone to be released. Its about time they release an iphone that is actually using new technology.

It depends what you need. If you have lots of songs, then you need more memory. If you want a video camera then go for the 3GS. That's about it really.

Yeah but it's actually predicting when the next one will be out. I am not sure as to whether there will be a price war between orange and o2...there isn't one at the moment but surely they will want to entice customers in the lead up to christmas and for the january sales....although iPhones have their own dynamic which attracts customers anyway.

Orange have been supplying the iphone since 10th of November, vodafone are not due stock until January 2010 & there WONT be any price war, well not for the actual handset anyway!

The only offer you MAY receive will be the minutes/texts on the actual contract so dont hold out for any handset price war as it aint going to happen :niceone:
