There is also the possibility that the scammer have no product at all, they just want you to give them your money - hopefully with a check, money order or western union.

How do I identify a iPOD nano is fake or real? there is a wholesaler in my country Singapore selling 2G black iPOD nano for only $95 USD.
I did went to their shop to have a look and it look like the real iPOD nano as seen in the shopping centre. It has a apple logo at the back, apple wheel click function, comes with instructions manual, even provide CDs for itunes stuff and offer 1 year warranty as well.
I was tempted to buy one but I can see that they have like afew hundreds boxes of ipods nano.. and those boxes have stamps of china address. So i decided to ask for advice before buying, I have checked ebay and stuff too.

There is no chance that they are seling for $95 there are many look alikes that are sometimes made to fool the buyer and other times not fool them. If they are selling at this price they are not going to be real apple ipod nano

Yep, most likely fakes or they do not have them and are useing a stolen account. I went through that stolen account scam about a week or two ago. Luckily I didn't send the Ipod yet and the owner of account contacted me and told me his account was stolen. I listed some 60gb videos and noticed tons of them too that look fradulent. Check these out and tell me what you think guys. Item# 280008302829

There's just a few. Just do a search for ipod video 60 mp3 player and a ton come up. For one thing They don't make a video 60gb U2 version right?
Well, maybe all of these fakes will drive my ipod videos prices up..

Hi,
Well not really. You can get legit Ipods from Ebay but the prices can go over the normal retail price.
