The OS of the Nokia 6233 is Nokia Series 40, a proprietary operating system developed by Nokia, which is also used in the 6280, the 6230 (i) etc.
Series 40 should not be confused with Series 60 (Symbian OS), as they have nothing in common.
The Nokia 6233 is the successor of the Nokia 6230i according to Nokia ( thats what they said at the CEBIT).

As far as I know the languages depend on the market they were originally delivered for.
I used to import Nokia 8855´s, that came with chinese language packs, and I remember it was a pain in the ass to find a Nokia service center that was able to flash it.
As far as I know you need to flash the firmware in order to change the languages available on the phone. But flashing the phone normally voids the warranty if it is not made by Nokia.
Normally, the 6233 should come with all the normal languages that you would need nor Europe. Or are these imported and have a different language pack?

They are Euro spec. My only concern is that they have English on them.

English is a concern? Where are you planning on selling them?
If the are Euro spec they should have the usual european languages like english, german, italian, french, swedish, spanish etc.
I am not 100% sure if the T9 text input software is available in every language, but the menue etc should be perfectly fine.
Where are these phones coming from?

Selling them here is the US. They are coming from Taiwan. As long as the EU model phones have English, I'm fine.

The EU models will definitely have english language on them, so no worries. If you want to, I can call a big local distributor that I have close links with tomorrow, and ask him to make sure.

No problem, I will call them up tomorrow and let them check. But I am pretty sure it will have english. All the Nokias I used in the last years had english language.
Just out of curiousity, if I may ask, how much did you pay for them?
