Pete, great idea with your service. Something like this provides a lot of value to overseas customers. Is there a sample report you can show people? What's tangibly provided for $27.50?

Indeed a sample of a visit would be very useful, just to see the sort of information obtained and I'm sure would generate a few more sales.
Will be using this service very soon, I'm sure it will save me a lot of money in the long term.
Also would there be a discount for visiting multiple places or is it set?

I think I've posted this before, but here is one visit -

Are they who they say they are

Is the address, phone, etc. correct.
Yes.These are all right.
Are the properly registered with authorities

Are the ladies it says work there actually there?

Do they have products in stock?
Yes.
Do they ship from there or have others ship for them?
Yes.They do ship from there.
Do they dropship?
Yes.
What is your general feeling about them?
OK.They can be trusted.

Then another -

Company could not find registered with authorities.

The company TEL/FAX is personal mobile phone number.

It is only one person in the company.

I still do not contact with the man.

His cellphone is closed and I could not contact him.

The address is not detailed.

We could not get the address to find the company.

As you see, no formal "form", just her personal comments on this one, since it never got to the questions asked about the first visit.

And different people want different info. One sent a picture and wanted to know if that was actually the showroom. It wasn't.

Another wanted her to speak to a specific person,. which she did.

And no, no discount, as each is usually a separate trip. I guess if 2 ended up within a block of each other, but even so, $27.50 is nothing compared to what others want for a service like this. By keeping it simple, we can keep it cheap.

Usually 2 or 3 days. She took a long weekend, so Monday was a day off.

We did find one total scammer there - it's called SZVerify.

Actually, I got your email and I've asked her if she is willing to do a bit of traveling. You are the second to ask today.

Two new developments, which I will also start a new thread about.

She will now make visits outside Shenzhen. She will visit other cities within a day's round-trip radius of SZ. These include Ghangzhou and Zhongshan. cost per trip will be $150 USD, for a day's time and travel expenses.

For those who know the area, Zhongshan is maybe a 2 hour drive, but she must use public transportation, so it becomes a truly full day for her.

And I have had several inquires about her visiting Hong Kong Trade Fairs. We are working on that at this minute. She has a passport and has been before, so this should not be a problem. However, she will have quite higher expenses in HK, particularly if she stays over night.

I'll update on this as it develops.
