Hi guys im set up as a sole trader, dont now if this has been asked before but cant find it,

do i need to register my business? A lot of account forms i fill in ask for a uk company reg number, if i dont need one will this effect my chances of getting an account with them? and do i leave it blank in future?

I ve just filled out 3 forms and am waiting for a reply, and put my registered company adress as my address, was this the right thing to do?

You need to register with HMRC within 3 months of starting trading, there is no need to setup as a company until you really need to, like wise with VAT.

Not sure what you mean with regard to the question about what address you put on the forms..

woocoo - you can use whatever address you like as the registered address - if that's the only address you have then you're best off putting that address down
