Default Advice needed

Hi was hoping somebody could help me out, I am new to wholesale and would really like to start buying and selling, would probably start selling on ebay to start off. After weeks of doing plenty of reading up on other posts and advice on this site I still feel like I'm getting no where in finding suppliers. I have found this site very interesting though and everyone seems so friendly.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me out, would really like to get into buying and selling designer clothes, maybe baby clothes aswell though everytime I seem to come across a site on the net there either selling fakes or are scammers. I have looked through the ex catalogue sites but I don't think a profit could be made buying and selling on ebay. I spend hours after hours searching but never find anything genuine.
Any help would be really apreciated x

Quoting the rule breaker only makes our moderating jobs harder because we have to edit multiple posts.

Look why don't you start a website regarding your business.Go to forums that has a space for free classified ads.You could also advertise on websites such as craigslist etcetc. You could go in for a paid subscription that is if you are eager to promote your business fast.If you already have a website and you are looking for web promotion look for websites that offers SEO and PPC services. Try out terms like NY SEO etc etc on Google and start working.

Couple of places to check.

Here is one - I'd Never, Ever Pay For A Wholesale List!! BUT...

The other is a recent thread on being VERO'd, somehting that often happens with clothing on ebay.
