I do not pretend to know enough to advise you ... however the seller MIGHT know that Tescos or another competitor is to open a shop nearby in the future ... maybe the seller has a contact in the local council ....

The turnover does seem very good so you just have to ask yourself WHY? is he selling?

Opening a shop is a lot of hassle. If you are going to do it, it should be something that you know is expandable (ie) 4-6 shops + and have a good retail concept.

This is better than you sloging it out working 6-7 days a week with all the headaches and overheads. This is what a read in a biz opp publication and I agree with it.

theres no no money in retail! i manage a convenience store with weekly turnover of £27k, gross profit is between 20-45% but after running costs etc the store only makes 30l a year after paying wages. They are paying me 25k to run the place though so if you were paying that to yourself then i guess i'd be looking at 50k a year
