Smile Average sale weekly and how to advertise website?

Hello everybody,
I just want to know approximately how many sales you guys can generate per week. The reason I ask is that I've just opened a retailer online store for electronics (MP3, webcam, computer..etc) and I haven't generated any sales yet, so I kinda lose heart . I've tried many things to advertise the website such as google ads, flyers, ebay..etc, but nothing so far.
I know there is a different in sales between a wholesaler and a retailer, but if you guys can share your experience, I am very appreciate that.

I dont know if this is because the website is not good or something else. If you can give any feedback, again, ANYTHING positive or negative, that would be very helpful as well.

I am sorry for asking too many questions in one post. And thanks in advance for any answer.

Firstly how many visitors are you getting a day? How are you promoting your site?

Without traffic (people finding your store) you won't have any sales.

How do you advertise? Try Adbrite for target ads.

The site has been opened for more than a week now. I have around 30-40 persons visit per day. I use google adwords, ebay, flyers, radio station and local advertisement like kijiji to promote the site. I can't think of anything else. People just come and go, no one bother to register an account or buy:-(

Website looks clean enough - quite welcoming actually given its limitations - is that oscommerce? Can't see anything to identify it.

Soem of the images look too compressed would be about the only criticism I could think of at this late hour.

It will come - takes time - if it was easy, everyone would be doing it, then no-one would make any money

Put on a sale and advertise for a short time on local radio, should be fairly cheap to run.

If that doesn't bring you sales and visitors then somethings very wrong.
