Selling furniture in UK from China -how do I comply with Fire regs?

As the title suggests, I am baffled by what fire regs I have to meet and more importantly how to meet the regs.

I have been on the UK Business Start up website and have been through the info.

However, can someone tell me straight in simple language?

I want to sell furniture via ebay to the UK market but want to do it legally and meet the requirements necessary.

You need to comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations.

Ideally you need these independently tested, which will cost a fortune, so you better be planning volumes!
