Profits can be a lot more generous however with your own website or an off ebay area to sell

...But creating traffic is the obvious problem with that.

And I can think of better products to sell to the traffic.

I'm afraid I don't agree D M, it is possible to sell hundreds of games each week. Not of the same title, if that's what you were originally getting at, but build a catalogue of titles and it's easily achieved.
gaffe14 - To be honest, if you only have 500 euros to begin with I would seriously consider looking into other areas. The industry is quantity driven and if you cannot sell in quantity, you'll be making tiny profits for a long time to come!
Of course, the markets are very different from country to country. I have supplied games in the past to countries in Europe where they were being retailed at £55! So my own experience is based on how the market is in the UK.

Very rare! 99.9% of the time that isn't the case, as I'm sure anyone in the industry will tell you.

Has anyone here ever had a profit 10 pound per game yet? or isnt that possible from so far what ive read i think most people only make 1-2 pound profit per game?
So you'll need to sell 100 per week to get around 100 pound per week? hat looks almost impossible

The 1 to 2 pound a week is being based on Ebay. Yep some games you can get a quid others you can get more. Sorry but alot gets quoted by people who have never been in the business and also there is alot more out there, its not just Ebay & Amazon.

Honestly the profit margin in the video games market is not as much compared to other industries. The key to actually making money is on the quantity you sell.
When you talk about Ebay, due to all the selling fees involved you'll be lucky to make much (depending on how much you buy your games in at).

With 500 EUR you'd better stay of from video game market - at least for new, premium releases.
If you're very passionate about video games, maybe you can find a niche in games with bigger profit where your 500 EUR would have higher BP (buying power). I don't know much about these but one way of doing this would be to buy & sell second hand retro games or games to one specific retro console.
There are millions of retro games fans in the world - if you can create good strategy and branding, use some common sense marketing, I'm sure you can achieve great results. And your ROI will be much higher than with new releases for PS3's or xBox 360's.

Start with dropshipping - then you can sell any or every title.
