Default Ideas

Hello, my name is Robert. I am thinking about "buying a shop and selling stuff" as my friends would say. However, im not quite sure on what i would like to sell.

I have come to a conclusion, and i would like a vote and any tips or suppliers to be given please. Private or Trade.

1 - Sports - Clothing, Footwear, Misc - Company Examples - Sports Direct
2 - Electronics - Gaming, Consoles, Misc - Examples - GAME
3 - Clothing - Clothing, Jeans, Randoms - Examples - Blue Inc

As you can see, im finding it hard to reach a decision. Id love to do sports, but cant find a big enough wholesaler.

Electronics, apparently hard (according to this forum)

Clothing, Same as sports.

Any tips, advice or numbers/websites will be helpful please.

Personally I think clothing is easier as games depreciate alot faster than clothing.

If those were my three choices and those three only, clothing wins hands down

What would you suggest? As it sounds like you would choose different?

Everyone is doing them - too much competition - starting out when you are small fry is hard enough.

Can you get clothing made for you - imported under your own brand? If you can get something different to market or your own name brand, you might have a better chance

I would say clothes, but agree with something different, every city is the same, same shops, when i go to different cities i don't go to the same shops that i have at home, i like to see something different. Have a look around your town see what "different " clothes shops you have and take it from there. Not everyone is a fashion victim, some like to be different.

Good luck.

Andrea
