Actually, I'm not sure, but I will be contacting him about that tomorrow. What exactly is inspection? Does the buyer or some third party company go to the location of the stock and inspect the product, make sure there are the said number of units, etc?

I just contacted my supplier earlier today and he does allow inspection. He's a really good guy; he's been in the business for awhile and knows exactly what he's doing, so I put a lot of trust in his ability to be on time with shipments, payments, etc. I'll keep you guys updated!

I have a few questions about shipping terms. As an example, if I were going to ship out about 100-200 Apple iPods to someone within the U.S. via UPS or FedEx, what term should I use? I have heard of FOB, CIF, ex works, etc., and although I know what most of these terms stand for (thanks to ara-uk), I don't know know the whole meaning behind each one. Thanks in advance!

Use FOB-your city when the you are quoting a price that does not include shipping charges but you will physically deliver the items to UPS or FedEx.

Use CIF when you are including insurance and shipping in the price.

Ex-works when you will simply push the goods out your front door and the buyer must arrange to have them picked up and shipped.

Ok, so as long as I am physically bringing the products to UPS or FedEx and shipping within the U.S., I should use FOB?

One of my payment methods is T/T, and I was wondering what information a customer will need to be able to wire money to my bank account. My buyer and I both live in the United States. Thanks
