I am about to open a store dealing in buying and selling pre-owned goods e.g phones,Tv,camera,jewellery,games..e.t.c. This store will offer other financial services like pawnbroking, short time loan e.t.c.

Is there any particular method to determine the price to pay for pre-owned goods
brought the store for sell?

Any idea on what to percentage to pay for pre -owned goods and the mark up

The average mark up on pre-owned is 40-60% in these types of stores, although it may be worth checking out your local Cash Converters stores.

Check out sites like CEX too, they have buy/sell prices for most electrical items, don't take is as gospel but its a good starting point.

Another possibility is obviously your local free-ads, adtrader, etc. maybe even put a notice in some shops locally, an ad in your local paper saying we buy _____, cash waiting! call on blah for a quick cash decision and swift collection.
