Default Personal Accounting Software

Hi all,

what stuff do you all use to keep your documents, finance , bills in order

I know alot of people use spreadsheets but does anyone actually use any type of software.

Microsoft money looked promising but looks like its being discontinued.

MS Accounts Express is free!

Also look at Turbocash, which is open source.

Both should do the job of day to day accounting!

Another vote for Line 50 here. It ha s abit of a learning curve, but it's brilliant when you get used to it.

Does anyone use something like tradebox to link in Amazon and eBay sales?

This is so un-true...

But let time show you what outsourced accounting can do for your business

If you have MS Office then Accounting Express is a good choice for a number of reasons. Sage has a steep learning curve and is quite rigid in accounting terms which is fine if you are one! Most accounting packages have rubbish template editors (for creating your own invoices etc.). With Accounting Express you can use MS Office to create and edit templates. Best of all it's a free download!
