Hi Dan,
If you intend to sell on eBay, for you to be taken seriously and to be trusted by potential buyers, you have to work on building your eBay feedbacks/reputation. This does not only assure your buyers of your trustworthiness, it will also affect your search standing on eBay.
So how do you get your feedback up fast? List as many items as you can and consider having a sale (either reducing the item price or offering free shipping). Even if you lose a bit of money now, you'll reap the benefits in the long term when your feedback is higher and your listings more visible.
The buyers also depend much on the pictures and description specially when gauging if the item is indeed authentic. So take great pictures (highlight the bits that set the authentic item apart from the fakes) and state that the item is guaranteed authentic and if proven otherwise, you are willing to offer a refund (that is if you wish to do this).
Hope that helps! Good luck!
Cheers,
Haydee
