Thank you everyone for saving me money and a hell of a lot of trouble. I'm an 18 year old guy on a gap year trying to make some money to go on a trip with this girl i'm seeing. I literally started from £0 so that £450 means a lot. I know its asking a lot, but what would be good to invest on?

plenty of good things in the market place. before buying anything do lots of research. my advice would be to stay away from the hot products, electronics, ect (although myself am in the designer clothing sector lol)

i wish you all the luck!

I nearly made the exact same mistake of almost buying lyle and scott polos for £350 a couple of months ago.

Then I found this forum read through it and realised that the items were fake. This forum contains priceless information!

I too want to start selling designer gear

Good luck to you,
Luke

Spend some of your £450 on a ladder, a bucket, a sponge, and a shammy. You can easily make the money you need cleaning windows. There is no such thing as easy money these days. You have to work for it im afraid.

Have alook in the marketplace, you can make huge profit from china, not a couple of bucks per item, but can do 50% markup no problem.

Have a look at unbranded things.

For £450 you could buy 50 things that will make you £5-£10 more per item, the answers are out there, don't be afraid to get stuck in.

If you have found your way to a wholesale forum then a normal job probably is not your burning desire..lol

There is money to be made just need to work smart..
