i have decided to create this thread for the 'newbies'of this site, myself included

Daily i see posts in this section asking for help on a specific topic and what they need to do next.

i thought it worthwhile to have all that complied into one easy post, like a checklist where members can come and see what is both involved in setting up their business and also getting the motivation, that first step to succeed

So, everyone with reccomendations on how to start a business, source products, ect.. post in this thread and help the community members

i look forward to your responses

My advice is - think, research, speak to existing business owners, know your customer base.

Once you get started make sure you keep a close eye on your cashflow - without cash the business will quickly go under. You must always know your overhead costs, margins, and what turnover you need in order to make a profit.

Many new businesess try and avoid these facts but they are your life.

Always research! Don't just listen to your friends and family! Get out there and find out the truth.

If it does not work, pick yourself up and try something new. Always think of ways to improve and make more money. Afterall we all need money, and that is why we work! We might love our jobs but at the end of the day money pays bills!
