How can you do checks on a company if theyre based in China? Is there anything i can type their address into etc to prove that theyre a proper business?

First do a Whois lookup on the website (if there is any), see how much time they are registered.
Call their number, say you`re interested in visiting their warehouse, evaluate the reaction.
Do a search on google to see if there are any references to fraud related with the company.
Check if the company is a registered business on www.dnb.com and see if the contact details match the info given upon the company page.
Find out their payment terms, if it`s Western or T/T it`s probably fraud.
