But why only wire transfer? I know it is a lot easier to send money this way, but it makes people like me question the company's validity and wonder if they will ever run in the future. All I am wondering is if there is any other way someone could negotiate them into accepting credit card, paypal, anything other than wire.

what about asking if they'll agree to use some sort of escrow service?

I' ve tried it. Strictly no samples and only wire transfer. Makes me more concerned as I have no info on their products' quality and reliability.
