Wink Best Items to import from China and sell on ebay

Hello all,

I have a cousin who does his business in shenzhen/east asia , and he has now developed alot of wholesale contacts in mainland china and hong kong. coupla days ago he sent me a price list for mobile phone batteries, and i really liked the prices but i was wondering do mobile phone batteries sell well on ebay? and how much duty etc will i need to pay on this item? i mean can u sell like 200-250 batteries in a week?. and is there any other item besides mobile phone batteries that would sell well on ebay?. i was thinkin about stuff like flash memory(like memory stick pro duo) etc? do they sell well on ebay?.

So could someone plz give me an idea about what sells well on ebay? I m a first timer, and would really appreciate if someone tells me a bit about what's best item to import from china?. YOu know i dont wanna miss this opportunity , cos you know not everyone has a good contact in china whos willing to ship me items i want without asking for anything in return(ie he will be doing it for free for me).

any replies will be appreciated.

regards
Xanxicar

Ebay has an advanced search functionality that you can search for the product and look at completed items to gauge what the ending prices are likely to be....flash memory does very well but make sure its not fake...

I am new to this forum, but from my opinion, the best things to sell on Ebay are also things that can be sold off Ebay to friends, people...etc.

I have a friend that found a company in China that made replacement batteries for Dell laptops. He imported them and made a fortune. There is definitely money in that.

Use Ebay Pulse, Google Trends, and other methods similar to these to see what people are searching for and buying.

You can make money on a lot of things. But you have to be able to target your customers.

Smile sell your familiar and interesting goods

you can sell all of the goods that someone else says saleable!because maybe they sell well but when more and more people get in,it must get vicious competition, then you can still sell them well ?of course, there's some goods that will never out of season,so you can get your customer by its good quality, timely customer service, find out them.
or you can sell what you're familiar and interested in,which will save you much time, maybe it will go on well.
