Default Experience with http://www.worldwidebrands.com???

Hi everyone, I'm new here and first I just wanna say this is a great forum with a lot for me to learn.
While researching for suppliers for my brand name clothing retail business, I came accross this site
http://www.worldwidebrands.com/
It's very well built and boast all those proof of credibility as you could see. Plus it's a member of BBBOnline in the US.
I really want to believe they're are offering something useful for $99 USD, I'll buy the membership soon, but I'd like to listen from you all
Also, please have a look at this, let me know if you've worked with them before
www.luxurymagazzino.com
I tried to look for the company's information but got no where.

I wouldn't. Read around these forums about buying lists and joining list sites. You can get the information elsewhere. if you get it off a list, it has not saved you time because you still need to exercise due diligence.

With the other one, its "about us" section not only fails to tell yo anything about them, it spends a suspiciously long time trying to debunk an affiliation nobody was previously aware of. Which makes me wonder about that affiliation.

I'd steer well clear of both and carry on in my search for good, trustworthy suppliers.

Although WWB is an excellent source, you will not find brand name clothing suppliers.

Thanks a lot everyone.
www.luxurymagazzino.com does look a little tacky for me. Fortunately for me, they have a show room ( the address is listed on their website ) in my area. I'm going to visit them one day this week and I'll tell you guys how it's like.

Now, let's move on to other sites I've found.

www.topper.com

They claim to have authentic designer sunglasses, and they have a decent collection, too.
So tell me what you all think.

And this site www.shop4brand.com

I really like their watch collection. Although price is a bit steep, they seem legitimate to me. Tell me what you think guys.

I actually used WWB for some of the items I used to sell on ebay.com, sure there is competition but again looking a little closer will actually push you in a direction of 'contacts' which can push you further down the line etc etc...

Now I'm not just saying that because I promote them through an aff scheme but to dismiss them simply from a competition perspective is very short sited, I for one know that I have a supplier (OK, UK Based and not through WWB) of Mobile Phones that because of the relationship I have built up with them will supply me with handsets at a cheaper rate than the rates they advertise to most....sure its a volume thing also but my point is ANY supplier can provide you with goods at a competitive rate.

I have a mate who when venturing into new areas actually sells the items at cost so as to build a volume trade initially at which point economies of scale kick in and he starts to make his profit whilst still being able to supply at the competitive value that most of his competition see as a loss.

Its all about thinking outside the box, business is a long term payback proposition and short term instant wins are very few and far between unless you are already established in a marketplace.

musthavemobiles u r right but that relationship can only be built on getting good prices from day one which I have figuered is very hard. But will keep on looking and lets see what happens. Musthavemobiles u mentioned you sell mobiles are they finland, germany or china made. do send me your price on aulhuq@hotmail.com

Yeah, so predict a volume sale based on a cost price (even on Ebay) and the supplier will probably be interested. Sure it takes money but not many sustainable businesses are ever born out of zero capital unless it is a ground breaking new product.

I thought that some member would have dealt with one of the last two websites I mentioned and could give me some advise. If they've been discussed about somewhere else in this forum, please be so kind to direct me to that thread. It just seem a little strange that nobody response to that 2 websites...
