I have been looking around for a reliable wholesale supplier to buy goods from to resell on ebay. With xmas around the corner I figure now is the ideal time to cash in on the xmas shopping boom.

Well I found a supplier that seems to be good and the prices seem relatively reasonable but I like to do my homework first before spending money. There are so many rogues around these day that you have to be careful when buying online.

The company I found is http://bootsalesupplies.com.

After a look around on google I found this forum and figured that there is a good chance that someone here has shopped with them in the past.

If you have bought from them in the past or know someone who has could you please share with me your experience.

I guess by the lack of response that nobody here has any experience with this supplier then?

That's my guess too, Tom T. I've had a quick look at the site and they look like a car booter done well and grown to a sustainable level of wholesale. But whether that's by fair means or foul, I could not possibly comment.

Your best route, may I respectfully suggest, is to see what you can find out about them. It may be a real gem, so don't shout about it. Do a WHOIS on the web site - but that won't help because they openly state it's on shared space and a subdomain, look them up on Companies House to see if it's a registered company, follow up on any claims they make in their "about us" section then, if it still looks reasonably good, test them with a few small orders.

In other words, do your own homework as expressed in very many threads and stickies all over this site.

I did my homework and they checked out so I placed an order.

Just one problem. Two days after I placed my order they dropped their shipping rates drasticly and now only charge £15 flate rate shipping! I should have waited. Anyway I emailed them and they agreed to refund the difference so I got £11.55 refunded straight back into my paypal account. They didn't need to do that so it was well appreciated.

They now get a big thumbs up from me!!!
