Default Looking for a supplier of Gillette products?

Hi to everyone. I've found a local supplier of gillette razor blades in Sydney. However the discounts to retail are only small, so I'm trying to find an overseas supplier, preferably in the US where our dollar is doing so well at the moment. Does anyone have any details that could help me out?

Pete might be able to help you out here. There was a seller called gamel (or similar) on his old 4um who used to sell razors. He seemed to have a good/honest repution on the 4um.I never personally purchased anything of him/them but maybe pete might no a little more.

Becareful as 80% of Gillette stuff is fake!

Incidentally, they used to be the most shoplifted product in the UK Most supermarkets have them displayed behind a counter as a result.

Not something I've attempted to source. Two places you could try are the sister site to this one, The Wholesale Directory, linked to from low down on the right column of this page, and a list compiled by a member which is now linked from a sticky at the top of the Dropshipping section.

well that's going back some. That wasn't my 4um, I was just a mod. That place went up in flames, got to be bash city. No, I don't remember him.

Personally, what I would do is try and hook up with a grocery, drug store or convenience store distributor. They may not be interested in selling one line to a small reseller, but it's worth a try. They would also be a source for other toiletries.

If that doesn't work you might find a "wagon jobber" the kind of guys who sell off their trucks to the c-stores, small shops, etc. You might work a deal with one of them to buy for you, giving them a couple of bucks per case, etc.

All large cities have a general area with a number of grocery related distributors, I'd make a tip there and see what you can come up with.

That seem's strange pete as you talk about previous sellers on the site.I thought as a mod you would have remembered a high profile seller?

Actually, all that I can remember are a few of the rotten apples. You know how it is, the good guys seldom get "good press", but the bad guys get all the publicity.

I actually felt like at the end my only responsibility was deleting the obvious spam. Since I have always had some good sources of my own, my main reasons for being there were to help educate the newbies, control the spammers and expose the scammers. I personally wasn't looking for suppliers, so I did not pay much attention once it was established that they were legitimate.

In any event, I don't recall the guy you are referring to,

I was asking the exact same question about 6 months ago mgs2 But i came out with no result, i put in many hours of research + number crunching etc but when it came to the supplier i was deserted....I think this is a good market, but i haven't had luck.

If you find anything and wouldn't mind PM'ing me then it would really help me out (or bart862000[@]hotmail.com)

Thanks once again
