am very new to this world but i want to start it with the courage most of you guys had.i have been searching for suppliers for a long time and have a learnt a lot from here, i have seen dhgate and globalsourcedirect among others, but they both seem to be b2b, i want to know if it's good to start buying through them or i should still research for good suppliers-i want to go into baby products.
please advice me. thanks

You will probably find very good suppliers to help you get started with baby products around your local trading estates. Check them out, looking at minimum order quantities (MOQ), minimum spend per visit, suitability of the stocks they hold, which of your local shops and shops you know have vans parked outside.

Compare the prices and conditions of sale with what you can get by importing, by the time you have paid duties, carriage and heartache.

As a start up, local is, not always but in the vast majority of cases, better whenever you can get it.
