Right! At this point it's all talk and no action.

Get your ducks in a row, get legal with Anthony and then it will be time to put up.

Lets get one thing straight I AM NOT MALAY. I am an AMERICAN going to school over here. It is cheap schooling, cost of living ( 3bedroom apartment 2000 sqaure feet - I pay $370 a month with utilities), and considering Asia is the world's fastest growing economic powerhouse because of trade it helps me get a job easier if I attend school over here.

Yes hawkers do sell fakes but not so much in malaysia as much as thailand. Too many cops busting them. And remember the Prime Minister just announced 1 week ago that the country needs to become more ethical and more a Muslim ran country. That pissed off most the Indians that live here becuse well watch the news. This country is heading for a race war. OH YEAH there goes my education. So anyways the cops are cracking down hard as almost all cops here are Muslim and have a higher set of ethics than most westerners. I believe you if you said you have came here.

When I am in thailand or any other country for that matter I am a farang, and people who find the word farang offensive do not know what it means. The word farang in thai just means white skin. i am white. so i am a true farang. lol that is like you saying a black person in english there should be no harm taken. people just like to complain when they dont understand language correctly. lol

Oh how i love the good game of football (or as my fellow americans refer it as soccer lol) Lumpini yes sorry.

But there are tons of more places for great shopping in thailand as well such is around thonglor, rama III, national monument, and lots more you know the places that have not made it all over VirtualTourist yet. lol -

As far as getting the better price now as much time as I have spent in asia i really find it hard to believe that a foreigner got a better price, not doubting it but it is hard to believe. Maybe next time you go to bangkok I can hook you up with some of my friend, my one friend is an excellent negotiator. He could talk the most stubborn people into great deals. I mean it he has a gift of negotiating. (i keep telling him he needs to go to college and work for a large corporation but he has a high level of consciousness - something i yet do not have but am working on).

I plan to become a registered seller once i get all my ducks in a row. another words my website done and all my business permits and licenses for exporting over here. It is not the easiest due to the fact i am a foreigner and I had to pay a huge lawyer fee to show statements of money, etc. just look up the procedure - it is a fun one.

Pete - to be exact I am not even sure that electronics will be my main export. I am really looking into exporting Palm Oil. It is awesome profit becasue Malaysia is the powerhouse of the trade and not to many people know about it. It is still considered untapped. And now finally they are starting to make it more a ecological friendly process.

Electronics are everywhere and there is just so many headaches dealing with electronics. and until you start trading in the thousands the profit is not the greatest in my opinion. there is more to made trading other items. I like untapped markets vs. over-done markets. This thread was just started to inform people of true prices in Asia because I was reading to many post were saying products were too low in price and deals don't exist like that. I just used the iPhone as an example because of another thread that was saying that they were not that low. just read my original post.

Agreed. Don't talk the talk, if you can't walk the walk.

With the amount of people on here after iPhones, you would have a stack of members ready to hand over their cash. So what’s stopping you? The fee to sell on here is minimal and the user-base is huge.

You seem so desperate to prove your point. So why not do it? After all, actions talk louder than words...

PT Games - I read about you on another site (it is a funny site, I actually find this forums awesome) So PT Games nice to meet you. Please read my last post I don't even know if I am going to deal with electronics, too much competition.

Second of all all I see on here is people wanting 10 or 20, no offense small quantities like that are not worth the effort. If I do end up selling electronics it will definitely be 25+ on higher end products and more like 50 -100 on products like iPhones. But I am always open to the idea of people meeting me in person to pick up the items.

Sorry I don't find it a natural practice to lie in life. As I mentioned before that leads to terrible Karma and how is my consciousness going to benefit from that. Remember with 2012 coming we all should keep our consciousness clean.

Explain these 16GB iPod touch prices:

Taiwan - 440 USD
Korea - 463 USD
Hong Kong - 410 USD
U.S - 399 USD

U.S is the cheapest.

howdythere my man this is all well and good and maybe you are right I know f all about malaysia or its pricing but all I see so far is talk. So buy some you can make $300 at least on each phone if they are unlocked. You claim to be a businessman well businessmen are opportunists. If there is an opportunity to make a $1000 dollar profit on less than a $1000 investment how come you ain't taking it?

spend $1000 on iphones and get them sold for $2000 minimum.

I don't care if you're not into electronics long term a business person takes advantage of what opportunities they can and here's yours

so put up.

first off i dont have a $1000 to invest in myself as of now. ONCE AGAIN I am in school. do you know how much money I get after my student loan covers school, books, housing, food, travel. It's not like a have a magical tree where I can just go and pick $100 notes off of. Go to college and tell me you have that much to invest in anything. lol And since I go to school in malaysia and i am an american i cannot get a job.

So for now I have student loans and that is it. Lets see about $150 a month I can spend on myself. lol and that is mainly spent on my internet connection. Welcome to the real world. Bills are a bitch.

And I did not start this thread for just iPhones it was a general thread about true cost of products. If you were a businessman you would not really disagree with what I am talking about. Or maybe all my professors for the last two years have just been lying to me.

I write on 5 different forums about different subjects and I have never been on a forum like this before. This forum seems to be about knocking people down and not true wholesale discussion. I wrote a thread about how to look at cost in Asia vs. the 4 other big areas of the world to show people that cost are cheaper. I just used the iPhone as an example and instead of anyone reading my thread all I here is PROOVE IT - PROOVE IT.

And to studio1one you know ALL ABOUT MALAYSIA and Pricing then you know that I am not joking around. What company do you own? What is your annual sales? How much profit annualy comes out of those sales? If your figure is not about $100,000 like my favorite professor tell us all the time - "SHUT UP and LEARN, Becasue Until you Reach $100,000 in Profit you Have no Right Telling Anyone About Business. And then you can only tell 5% of the true business world anything" lol This happens everytime me or any of my classmates try to debate in class. But he has his Phd and help start a multi million dollar company so you have to listen to him. Another quote he always says "People in business will always discredit others as a way of lacking true vision themselves"

Ok well I am going out to lunch and to my study group I will be back on later. Hopefully most people can realize that I did not start this just about iPhones it was just to be INFORMATIONAL. Or is that not what this forum is about????

This last semester I took what money I had and bought my laptop, and that also maxed out my one credit card($500 limit is not that much - thanks VISA)

So for now i jut have to wait. Hopefully the next semester I will have some extra cash left over to start up.
