I emailed Bob regarding the issues pointed out in this thread and here is his response:

Hello Cameron,

I tried to make an account, but their SQL was not functioning properly. I do not know when the last time was that anyone checked out that answer on google.com, but it has since then been removed. I wrote an e-mail to google telling them to further research this article. The information they provided for their buyer was simply rediculous. They said we do not have a contact phone number? It is right on the homepage. This alone was my first red flag that told me they barely even read our site...Read my mail for yourself.....

I would like this content removed. I am not a scam and this information could potentially harm business. I have never worked with the person in my life. Their information is fake and not researched. Here is the link to the accusations. I have rebuttaled to their statements below.
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=590200

To answer the statements below:

1. Yes we are a registered company. BRV Suppliers is a legal subsidiary of Network Startup. Please view our legal MICHIGAN DBA here, (www.brvsuppliers.com/DBA.jpg)

2. Yes we do have our phone number and fax line listed on our site. The person is an idiot and simply did not even read our site throughly. Yes our address is also listed on the invoicing, also included on the site.

3. 1 year is the standard registration for a website domain. It would be unheard of to register your web domain for 10+ years! Nobody does that. The reason why the number comes up unlisted is because the main contact number is my personal cell. Would you rather talk to an answering machine when I am only in the office, or would you rather talk to me and be able to get a hold of me ASAP?

4. We do not reccomend a wire transfer. It states very clearly that we suggest AMEX for first, second, third, etc. orders, until you feel comfortable with any other payment. It is up to the buyer. We offer AMEX because they provide buyer fraud protection. Look up the process it takes to aquire an AMEX merchant account. They require a lot of REGISTERED business information. If I couldn't pass that, I would not have a merchant account.

Bottom line:

Who ever wrote this article, accusing our company of being a scam did not do their homework. Be realistic. Don't trust everything that you read.

Best regards,

Bob

i think from now on, we're gonna see a lot more of this because of the number of brokers out there. (not necessarily a bad thing but it seems to be a hassle to prove if they're legit or not)

If anyone wants to help prove he is legit we could put together a small order of 25 - 4gb nanos. Then we can all lose some money or prove he is real.

man i dont get this..
take a look at the home page on their site. there's a picture of a warehouse with a lotta stock in it and its dated 4th november. then take a look at orders on hand it says 0 for all of them.

and if u scroll down to oct 16th, it says they're getting a warehouse soon.

in that case, ask him to get 25, and then to take a picture with his name or some other form of ID..
alternatively, if the warehouse in the picture really does belong to them then, i assume they have a atleast 1 employee to maintain and move the stuff around and ship (althought 1 is pushing it). since they would have an employee, they need to have an EIN (employee identification number)

In six weeks, our 55,000sq.ft. warehouse will be completed! Delivery time will be 3-5 business days. We are also going to release the complete line up for Sony Plasma products in a couple months as well.
